Applicants are subject to a position relevant background check.\u00a0 Other requirements include three personal and\/or work references.<\/p>\n<p><b>Preferred Qualifications:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>One (1) year or more of experience working with youth and adults with and without disabilities in recreation, teaching or day camp environment; knowledge of age appropriate art activities for participants between 13-100 years old with developmental and\/or physical disabilities; Ability to live by Kent Parks mission of &#8220;Dedicated to Enriching Lives&#8221; and demonstrate the following characteristics: responsible, respectful, honest, energetic, passionate, flexible, original, creative, dependable, thoughtful. Have basic arts and craft skills.<\/p>\n<p><b>WORKING CONDITIONS:\u00a0<\/b>Work is performed in a community center\/indoor facility with a large volume of customers, noisy environment.
