{"id":6335,"date":"2023-02-23T13:00:56","date_gmt":"2023-02-23T21:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/?p=6335"},"modified":"2023-02-23T13:06:14","modified_gmt":"2023-02-23T21:06:14","slug":"camp-taconic-seeks-fine-arts-summer-counselors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/2023\/02\/23\/camp-taconic-seeks-fine-arts-summer-counselors\/","title":{"rendered":"Camp Taconic seeks Fine Arts Summer Counselors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Camp Taconic Job Opportunity: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Camp Taconic, a co-ed sleep away camp in Western, MA, is currently hiring upbeat and enthusiastic counselors to be role models for our campers this summer.\u00a0 <strong>We\u2019re specifically looking for specialty counselors in ceramics and photography for our Fine Arts Center. <\/strong>\u00a0This is the perfect opportunity for college students studying Fine Arts who are looking for a summer internship or job.\u00a0 We provide room and board for the summer, a competitive salary, travel reimbursement, internship credit and it is an overall wonderful experience!<\/p>\n<p>This is a summer job position, beginning June 16, 2023 and ending August 12, 2023.\u00a0\u00a0At Taconic, we have a full program of activities.\u00a0One of our premier program groups is Fine Arts! \u00a0Fine Arts counselors work closely with our outstanding Arts and Tech team to instruct campers within an activity area. Counselors also help campers create amazing projects throughout the summer. During a summer at camp, counselors gain invaluable experience teaching, mentoring, working with children and more!\u00a0We are looking for counselors that are not only passionate about and creative in their activity area but who also have the ability to teach and develop the campers\u2019 skills in that area.
