Through feedback collected from focus groups, surveys, and individual interviews and conversations, the organization will create a new name reflecting urban conservation with a focus on birds, the region it represents, and, if possible, its commitment to inclusion and antiracism.<\/p>\n<p>This is a paid opportunity: $7K-$10K, DOE\/Agreed-Upon Process.<\/p>\n<p>SCOPE OF WORK<br \/>\n\u2022 Sketches and design drafts as per deliverables schedule.<br \/>\n\u2022 Consultation with Seattle Audubon staff.<br \/>\n\u2022 Deliverables include: production-ready design files and electronic images ready for<br \/>\nwebsite and other promotional materials, any associated typefaces and colorways.<\/p>\n<p>SELECTION CRITERIA<br \/>\n\u2022 Illustration and design excellence,<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrated illustration and design experience,<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience with and understanding of BIPOC and other marginalized communities is<br \/>\npreferred,<br \/>\n\u2022 Collaborative experience,<br \/>\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to research and\/or understand birds, bird species, conservation<br \/>\nconcepts, and the SA service area<\/p>\n<p>(Please see RFQ for more details, including requested materials for application).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seattleaudubon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/RFQ-Seattle-Chapter-Logo_Extended.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/seattleaudubon.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/RFQ-Seattle-Chapter-Logo_Extended.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seattle Audubon (SA) is undergoing a thoughtful, inclusive process to change its name, specifically to remove its namesake, John James Audubon, which it considers a barrier to its mission to be a more inclusive, anti-racist organization.
