We are looking for someone with experience working in retail or customer service,\u00a0 who enjoys people, is self-motivated, confident, and interested in furniture. This person will work 3-5 days a week including weekends from 10:45am-6:15pm. The schedule will be determined a month in advance, with some flexibility. Hourly pay starting at $18 and up to $22 depending on experience, with regular annual raises.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">This individual will be the main point of contact for all customers who visit or contact the store during their shift. We seek someone who can create a welcoming environment for customers, accurately answering questions and checking people out, assisting with returns\/exchanges, and assisting with loading furniture into vehicles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Since this individual will be joining our very small team of four employees and representing the brand of our family business, we are seeking someone with the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Open availability to work flexible hours on weekdays and weekends<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Commitment to excellent customer service under all circumstances<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to communicate effectively<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to accurately complete all sales documentation<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Excellent organizational skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to work independently under minimal supervision<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to process information and merchandise through computer and register systems<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations to resolve customer issues<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">High school diploma\/GED or equivalent, Associate degree or equivalent preferred<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to pass a background check<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ability to help load furniture and rearrange merchandise in the showroom, can lift 50 lbs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\" data-rte-preserve-empty=\"true\">\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Daily Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-rte-list=\"default\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Assist customers on product inquiries and complaints<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Obtain merchandise requested by customer<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Maintain an awareness of all product information<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Assist in processing, restocking and replenishing the merchandise<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Accurately complete all sales transactions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Help keep the showroom clean and orderly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"\">Answer and direct phone calls &amp; inquiries to the appropriate person<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\">\nIf you are interested in applying, please send a cover letter and resume to owner Chris Tirtoprodjo at <a href=\"mailto:chris@tirtofurniture.com\">chris@tirtofurniture.com<\/a>.
