{"id":7084,"date":"2024-09-26T08:53:14","date_gmt":"2024-09-26T15:53:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/?p=7084"},"modified":"2024-09-26T08:53:14","modified_gmt":"2024-09-26T15:53:14","slug":"metal-museum-offering-scholarships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/advis104\/2024\/09\/26\/metal-museum-offering-scholarships\/","title":{"rendered":"Metal Museum Offering Scholarships"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\">The Metal Museum in Memphis, Tennessee offers two scholarships for students interested in learning metalsmithing:<\/p>\n<p>The Society for Inclusive Blacksmiths Scholarship is available to individuals from historically marginalized groups, which includes anyone who identifies as BIPOC, LGBTQA+, female, or disabled. The SIB Scholarship will award up to $1000 to cover class tuition and materials of a Metal Museum blacksmithing class.<\/p>\n<p>The Carlsen Family Scholarship will award up to $1000 to cover registration fees for Metal Museum education opportunities &#8211; which include but are not limited to classes, workshops, or conferences &#8211; hosted by and at the Metal Museum.
