We offer 24\/7 studio access to adult members and provide a variety of workshops for beginner to intermediate potters.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re a small, passionate team committed to clay, community, and keeping our studios clean, welcoming, and inspiring.<\/p>\n<p><b>Position Summary<\/b><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Ceramic Instructor to join our Eastside team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled potter who enjoys teaching and wants to be part of a growing creative community.<\/p>\n<p>The instructor will lead four workshops each week and host our weekly open studio. In addition to teaching, responsibilities include processing student work, operating kilns, and supporting general studio tasks.<\/p>\n<p><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach wheel throwing and\/or hand-building techniques<\/li>\n<li>Adapt instruction to support students at all experience levels<\/li>\n<li>Process and assist with firing student work (training provided)<\/li>\n<li>Follow existing lesson plans and contribute to improving workshop content<\/li>\n<li>Host open studio weekly<\/li>\n<li>Build positive relationships with students and fellow staff<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive studio environment<\/li>\n<li>Assist with customer support and general studio operations as needed<\/li>\n<li>Occasionally support workshops or duties at other studio locations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency in wheel throwing and\/or hand-building techniques<\/li>\n<li>Previous teaching experience required<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be a self-starter and team player<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely<\/li>\n<li>Must pass a background check<\/li>\n<li>Flexible availability to cover shifts as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Training Provided<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New team members will shadow current staff for 1\u20132 weeks before leading workshops independently<\/li>\n<li>Kiln operation and studio process training included<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Employee Perks<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complimentary studio membership, including 24\/7 access to studio<\/li>\n<li>Flexible scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Supportive and creative work environment<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities for growth as our studio network expands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>To Apply:<\/b><br \/>\nPlease submit your resume and a short bio through Indeed.<br \/>\nPlease <strong>do not<\/strong> contact studio locations directly.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.indeed.com\/viewjob?jk=3171a620dcdfe1f8&#038;from=shareddesktop_copy<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Compensation: $25.50 \u2013 $37.00 per hour raises based on time with the company and performance Job Type: Full-Time Location: Bellevue, with occasional support at our other studio locations Availability: Sunday &#8211; Thursday.
