Or offer extra credit if they make an art piece for the contest?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Participants create art pieces from items normally thought of as trash. The contest is open to all UW students, faculty and staff. Winners of each category will receive $100 or $50 e-gift cards to a zero waste shop.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Categories include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3D art<\/li>\n<li>2D art<\/li>\n<li>Textile art<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Artwork is submitted digitally through an online form. Submissions are due March 27, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you have any questions or are interested in other waste-related extra credit assignments, please reach out to us.
