A relentless enthusiasm, positive attitude, and strong sense of joy in the mission are essential.<\/p>\n<p>This is anti-racist work guided by justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion, with an understanding of trauma-informed care and social and emotional learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Outreach Services Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Outreach Director, the Outreach Services Coordinator supports Hilltop Artists\u2019 Outreach Services programming, including Arts Connect, after-school programs, summer programs, and community partnerships. This role focuses on equitable recruitment, program logistics, building relationships with youth and families, and assisting with individualized student support.<\/p>\n<p>This is anti-racist work guided by justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion, with an understanding of trauma-informed care and social-emotional learning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Support equitable outreach, recruitment, and enrollment for after-school, summer, and outreach programs.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Provide active classroom assistance, setup, cleanup, and logistics for Arts Connect and other outreach programs.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Build relationships with youth using trauma-informed, restorative, and relationship-centered practices.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Oversee collection, entry, and maintenance of program evaluation, survey, and demographic data using Salesforce and Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Experience working directly with youth in community, educational, arts, or social service environments.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Knowledge of trauma-informed care, restorative practices, positive youth development, and equity-centered approaches.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance administrative work with youth interaction.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Commitment to Hilltop Artists\u2019 anti-racist values and honoring the diverse lived experiences of youth, families, and staff.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Ability to serve as a positive, supportive, and emotionally grounded presence for youth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred candidates will also have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Four year college degree in arts, education, nonprofit management, social work, youth development, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Experience with arts-based or creative youth development programming.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Background in education, social work, community outreach, or youth justice systems.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Lived experience or cultural knowledge relevant to the communities Hilltop Artists serves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Email 1-page cover letter and resume to<a href=\"mailto:jobs@hilltopartists.org\">\u00a0jobs@hilltopartists.org<\/a>\u00a0with the subject line \u201c<b>[Last Name] Outreach Services Coordinator.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hilltop Artists is a mid-sized youth development arts nonprofit in Tacoma, Washington operating deeply impactful programs with broad community support, and a track record of success.
