For 14 years it has bridged the gap between students and the Seattle art community by pairing students and professional artists for a collaborative project. The work they create is then exhibited in a unique, off-campus location. In years past, artists like Gary Hill, Susie Lee, Paul Berger, Anne Fenton, Julia Freeman, Serrah Russell, Alice Gosti, and Thunderpussy have participated, among many others!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Apply at our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/strangecoupling.hotglue.me\/\"><span class=\"s2\">website<\/span><\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Feb. 15<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><sup>th.<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0There is a short survey, portfolio submission, and auction donation (the Strange Coupling auction is an event that raises funds for the exhibition;\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">a donation of a student&#8217;s work can be in any medium&#8211; written work, print, audio, sculpture, video).\u00a0The artist pairing announcement party will be on\u00a0March 10<\/span><span class=\"s3\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery. <\/span><\/p>\n<h5 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Questions?
