DEFINITION OF
DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES
qA person who has at least one of the following conditions:
•Mental Retardation
•Cerebral Palsy
•Epilepsy
•Autism
•Neurological conditions similar to mental retardation
qDisability must occur before age 18;
qDisability must be expected to continue indefinitely; and
qDisability must result in a substantial impairment
