Liver transplant anesthesia fellowship training program is to train future academic leaders in liver transplant anesthesia. This is a one-year non-ACGME accredited fellowship training program in Anesthesiology and offers 1-2 positions each year. In this unique fellowship, fellows split their time between working as the liver transplant anesthesia fellow and serving on faculty as an attending as clinical instructor in the general OR. The fellowship prepares candidates for leadership positions in transplant centers and fulfills criteria required to become Director of Liver Transplant Anesthesia as put forward by the American Society of Anesthesiologist (ASA).
