Dinner Meeting & Poster Presentations

The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine will be holding the tenth annual Academic Evening on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017. This invitation-only event is intended to showcase departmental resident, fellow, CRNA, and junior faculty academic productivity (clinical and basic science research, case reports and education initiatives). Senior faculty members are invited to submit an abstract if they do not have junior associates in their research group.

Posters will be judged in the following categories:

  • Systematic Reviews

Senior research faculty should have abstracts presented by junior associates in their research group (i.e., research scientists, residents, fellows, CRNAs, or junior faculty) unless they do not have junior associates.


Judy Su Endowed Research Training Award in Anesthesiology
The Judy Su Award is given to the entry designated as the best overall presentation by a junior Faculty, Fellow, or Resident. This award, named for a distinguished researcher and member of our faculty for over 30 years, is accompanied by a cash prize.
Other Awards
A number of other awards will be presented for merit overall, in each category, and special recognition.
