Learn the exciting rhythms and footwork of Flamenco, the dance that originates with the gypsies of Southern Spain. Maria Gitana, a Maestra de Baile with the Spanish Dance Society, teaches flamenco, classical and regional Spanish dance through their structured syllabus and certificate program. Students learn technique and a complete choreography in each 8-week course. Women need a long, full skirt and flamenco or character shoes. Castanets are available for purchase at class for $30-$40. Section 1 is a very beginning level class and Section 2 is for intermediate-advanced students. Crown Hill.
