English expressions, also called idioms, are used every day. These are phrases in which the words do not mean exactly what they say, such as "get a reality check," "bite the bullet," "lighten up" or "roll with the punches." Americans use expressions in many situations, even business meetings. Take this class to learn 100 English expressions from recent TV shows and movies. Each quarter, we study new idioms--you can learn 400 if you take the classes all year! On Campus.
