A book proposal is not just a marketing tool that helps you sell your work to agents and publishers. A good book proposal also helps you write (or revise) your book. During the six weeks of this class you’ll clarify your idea, identify your audience, analyze your competition, develop your platform and produce a table of contents, a sample chapter and a complete proposal, ready for submission. Recommended for writers who have only a vague book idea as well as those with a complete first draft. Non-fiction includes narrative non-fiction, nature and travel and food writing, self-help and memoir. On Campus.
Please note: these values do not include the $12 general public / $5 UW student registration fees.
