Tai Chi is classical Chinese exercise; a rythmical art that enhances deep breathing, balance, relaxation, and absolute calmness of mind. It promotes health and tranquility. It is a moving meditation, a healing art, stillness in motion, a martial art, and more. In China Tai Chi is often perscribed by doctors to meet the needs of patients with a wide variety of conditions. It provides stress relief and laughter while enhancing agility and refreshing us. Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and stages of fitness. This class is interactive; You may make new friends while practicing together. Section 1 is for beginning students, Section 2 is for continuing students. University District.
