Digital cameras are the future of photography. This 6-hour course covers the basics of digital photography in non-technical terms. Learn about the difference between quality and resolution, white balance, histograms, common digital camera features, file formats, etc. We will also discuss general photography techniques as they apply to digital photography. Topics such as exposure, composition, using flash, and accessories used by digital photographers are discussed. The class is designed for cameras that have some manual settings. Fully automatic cameras will not benefit from the class. On Campus.
