Elizabeth Lovelace started violin at age 8 at The Cleveland Institute of Music. In 1984 she graduated as a Pressor Scholar with a BFA in music from Colorado College. She received Suzuki certification in 1990 and taught at the Suzuki Institute of Seattle. Elizabeth has been teaching children and adults for over twenty five years. She performs with NW orchestras and multiple ensembles, including fiddle and swing bands.
She loves to work with all ages and abilities. As a Suzuki trained teacher, she is able to help her students develop a strong technical foundation. She combines this foundation work with the musical interests of her students. She performs and teaches primarily classical, celtic and swing fiddle styles of music.
"Elizabeth Lovelace has been our son's violin instructor for the past six years. We find her to be an engaging, insightful, highly dedicated instructor, who knows how to help her students reach their full potential"
