Join Debby Boland Watt & her improvisational a cappella trio, Medicine Truck, in an intermediate to advanced singer workshop. This is a unique opportunity for experienced vocalists to deepen their musical fluency & explore the genre of improvisational voice while honing listening, expressive & collaborative abilities.
The workshop will focus on strengthening melody, harmony, creative story/language & vocal percussion skills alongside experienced performers. Medicine Truck is sometimes poignant, at times deeply moving & often hilarious, as each song is a true original & completely unrehearsed!

Debby Boland Watt...
Debby is a strong vocalist, improvisational performance artist and master teacher whose unique musical vision embraces classical, folk, spiritual, pop, jazz, free improvisation and a cappella circle singing. Debby has had the privilege to perform and study with famed Bobby McFerrin and Rhiannon. Debby earned her MFA from Goddard College after having graduated from Seattle’s Cornish College of the Arts in Vocal Jazz. Currently, she teaches creative approaches to Voice at Annie Wright Schools, UW's Experimental College, Dusty Strings Music Shop and School and Mercer Island Music in addition to her Studio in Tacoma.
Christian is a Seattle-based performing artist who articulates his enthusiasm for life with his body and voice. His pioneering "Human Jazz" work (an improvised fusion of singing, acting and dancing) has been seen throughout this country and in Canada, Europe, and Asia. Presently, on the Theater faculty at Seattle University, his diverse training includes dance, mime, voice, as well as work with Korean shaman, Hi-ah Park, and the late Pakistani master-singer, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Travis is a bass vocalist, recording artist, photographer, poet, visual artist and producer. Travis has toured through the US and abroad with his five siblings aka Fivacious . Travis has recorded six albums with Fivacious and has spent the last 20 years sharing his music and art with fans from all walks of life.
