Emily Lubinski is a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She has danced with Ballet Foundation, Dallas Powerhouse of Dance, Chamberlain Ballet, The Boston Ballet, Ballet Theatre Dallas, Contemporary Ballet Dallas, Velocity Dance Center, 127th St. Dance. Co., and competed on the national and international stage in ballet, contemporary, Latin, and jazz dance. Emily is now a principal dancer with Seattle's 127th St. Dance Company, and teaches ballet, pointe, contemporary, and jazz dance throughout Seattle. Her performance and competition experience brings an ever-expanding repertoire into her choreography and classes, and her professional training brings an eye to detail that benefits students of all levels. Emily holds her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington, and in 2012, she was selected by the Washington State Arts Commission, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, as one of a select group of recognized Teaching Artists. Emily is a dedicated teacher, and loves inspiring new dancers to embrace the challenge and artistry of dance.
