Lisa Pau practiced union-side labor law for over 10 years representing trade unions, non-profits, and workers from diverse backgrounds, including low-wage immigrant workers and progressive activists. She has worked in both California and Washington providing advice and strategic counsel on strikes and various work actions. She has also participated in marches, pickets, rallies and other kinds of public demonstrations. Recently, she returned to graduate school at the UW to study Sustainable International Development and hopes to expand her work to include environmental issues and social justice in the greater global context.
