B4T presence at AADR 2018
B4T research findings will be presented at the 47th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Dental Research in Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. If you are attending the meeting in Florida, make sure you won’t miss out on them.
- Dr. Yen-Wei Chen, Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry will present Clinical Analysis of Digital Impressions for Posterior CAD/CAM Ceramic Restorations, co-authored by Drs. Sadr and Sorensen. The results are part of Dr. Soresnsens’s clinical trial on a complete digital workflow for fabrication of adhesively cemented lithium disilicate restoration. Poster #1114 will be presented on Friday March 23 at 11 am.
- Paul Lutgen will present Micro-shear Bond Strength of RMGI to Silver Diamine Fluoride-treated Dentin. His award winning 2016 SURF project, supervised by Dr. Alireza Sadr, has been expanded to a new project to take part in the Dentsply Sorona competition this year. He will present the poster #484 on Thursday March 22, 2018 at 11:00 am.
- Mark van Duker will orally present abstract #543 Effect of SDF and KI on Bonding to Caries-affected Dentin in Grand Ballroom A at 2:45 pm on Thursday March 22. Mark’s SURF project supervised by Dr. Sadr has won an award at the UW SOD research day competition.
- Vernon Zander will present poster #902 MicroCT Assessment of Dentin Demineralization Prevention by SDF and SDF-KI on Friday March 23. This work is another SURF project, presenting the application of UW’s new X-Ray microfocus computed tomography for Dental hard tissue research, coauthored by Drs. Dan Chan and Ali Sadr.
- Behnoush Bakhtiari, currently an IDDS candidate at University of Michigan in Ann Arbor presents the work she carried out in Seattle with Natasha Paranjapye and Dr. Sadr. Poster #684 Effects of Fiber-reinforced Increment on Bond Strength to Deep Dentin investigates a new technique for fiber-reinforcing bulk fill composites, and will be presented at 3:45 pm on Thursday, March 22.
- Dr. Juri Hayashi, an upcoming visiting scholar at the Department of Restorative Dentistry presents collaborative research 3D Assessment of Gap Formation Under Adhesive Resin Cement coauthored by Drs. Takagaki and Tagami of Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Dr. Shimada of Okayama University. Presentation #841 will be at 8:00 am on Friday March 23 in room Floridian B in an oral session chaired by Dr. Sadr.
