What is SURF?

Current Student Research Opportunities at B4T

The following ongoing funded projects are available for the 2020 SURF applicants and dental students interested in research. Please contact Dr. Sadr for more information

  1. Evaluation of the new universal cement for bonding lithium disilicate restorations
  2. Microtensile bond strength of bulk-fill composites to cavity floor
  3. Longevity of fiber-reinforced composite restorations by fatigue loading
  4. Detection and treatment of cracks under old restorations

Students participating at B4T research projects must be willing to present their results in a major national or international event, compete for research awards and write a manuscript. The SURF framework is preferred for the first year students.
