Undergraduate Research Opportunity
The Boeing Advanced Research Center (BARC) at UW is looking for undergraduate researchers starting from June, potentially for the upcoming Summer and Autumn 2018 Quarters.
The researchers will work on a project in automated inspection of aerospace assemblies. The specific project tasks are on implementing and testing a suite of analysis methods for camera images.
Preference will be given to Juniors in Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematical Sciences, who are good in computer programming and have some experience in computer vision or image processing. Students can get course credit and/or hourly pay. Note that the IP from this project is covered under the UW-BARC agreement; therefore, students will have to sign an IP waiver. Positions will be filled in an on-going manner.
