In her undergraduate research with Dr. Paul Agris, she aimed to investigate the human toxicity of aminoglycoside antibiotics. As a research technician in Dr. Paul Agris’ laboratory, she aimed to identify RNA aptamers that bind to Alzheimer’s disease responsible protein (Aβ42) using SELEX technique.
