Project overview: I am investigating how transcriptional differences in follicle cell types contribute to regulating morphogenesis. By taking an RNA-Seq approach to profiling isolated cell populations, I have identified broad transcriptional differences that distinguish floor and roof cells from the rest of the epithelium. I am currently investigating how these differences drive distinct cellular behaviors.
Hobbies: my miniature goldendoodle (Leonard), trail running, knitting, and true crime podcasts
