Working collaboratively and sharing knowledge is foundational to our work. As part of our mission, we regularly bring together academics and practitioners to discuss pressing issues regarding children’s development and mental health, and that roles that parents, families, educators and providers play.
Biennial Mindfulness Research Conferences
Every other year, we host a conference to bring together researchers and practitioners whose work promotes the well-being of children and families through mindfulness. The latest research findings and their applications are presented, with rich opportunities for networking and discussion. The focus is on advancing the science of mindfulness to enhance children’s, parents’, caregivers’, educators’ and practitioners’ empathy, compassion, and self-regulation, and supporting caregivers’ stress-management, responsiveness, and consistency in their interactions with children, enhancing children’s well-being.
Review the conference presentations from our 2017, 2015 and 2013 conferences.
Our next Mindfulness Research Conference is scheduled for 2020. Check back soon for more information.
