Router Safety procedures		Routers are used for cutting and shaping decorative pieces. A router has a vertical shaft with a cutting tool attached to it called a bit. Each bit has a different shape. The shaft spins at high speeds to cuts the wood. There are two kinds of routers. One is attached to a fixed base and the other is a plunge router.
