Table Saw Safety procedures		The table saw is the machine most often used in the shop. You will use this saw for ripping (cutting with the grain of the wood) and crosscutting (cutting across the grain of the wood). Most table saws have a fixed horizontal table with a blade that can be raised, lowered or set at an angle.
