If you wish to park on campus, parking permits will be required for this event. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, May 1st to May 19, 2024. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.

Congratulations History Graduates, Class of 2024! The Department of History Convocation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 12:00 noon Pacific Time. We will celebrate our UW History undergraduate and graduate students at History Convocation. In early May we will send an email invitation with more details to recent graduates who earned a degree in Summer 2023, Autumn 2023 and Winter 2024, and current students who have applied to graduate in Spring 2024 or Summer 2024. Please pay careful attention to your email inbox – and check your SPAM/junk mail folders regularly – to be sure you receive this invitation. You will need to RSVP to attend the event and have your information read at Convocation. We will have a cake reception following Convocation in the Smith Room (324) in Suzzallo Library.
You may bring as many guests as you would like to Convocation.

We do not wear caps and gowns at our event. Most graduates will dress business casual.
Ticket Information
Graduates need to RSVP to register for History Convocation via their email invitation. Please check your SPAM/junk mail in the month of May if you are graduating and have not received an email. Graduates may bring as many guests as they would like; tickets are not required.
