If you wish to park on campus, parking permits will be required for this event. Students should purchase these permits for themselves and their guests through the Commencement Registration/Order Form, May 1st to May 19, 2024. Day of parking may be available for additional cost, but lot selection and availability are not guaranteed.

RSVPs for the Physics Department Graduation Celebration is now closed.
The Physics Department holds an annual Graduation Celebration for their students who graduated between autumn 2023 – summer 2024 with UW-Seattle Physics bachelor’s, professional master’s, or doctoral degrees.
SCHEDULE
Note: we will have 2 rooms for the celebration, running concurrently
ALL STUDENTS AND GUESTS
Doors open 9:30 AM. If you arrive before our event begins, you may locate your seats in the appropriate auditorium (signage will be posted to direct you).
ALL STUDENTS
9:45 AM: Gather for group photo by “the Peanut” before our celebration begins.
PAA A102: All PhD and PMSP students. Undergraduates with last names A-L
PAA A118: Undergraduates with last names M-Z and late-RSVP Undergraduates regardless of last name.
9:55 AM: Students and guests are seated in designated room
10:00 AM: Opening remarks
10:05 AM: Presentation of graduates
11:15 AM: Final Congratulations!

11:15 AM: Please enjoy a casual reception of coffee, juice and pastries in Mark N. McDermott Plaza. The campus-wide Husky Stadium ceremony opens doors at 12:30 PM with the procession at 1:30 PM for those who will participate.

Ticket Information
RSVPs to this event are now closed. The number of guests per RSVP'd graduate will depend on how many participants we will have in order to stay in compliance with occupancy limits.
