Specifically, the authors \u201cdiscuss three lessons to advance excellence and diversity: center relationships, provide ongoing engagement, and leverage programmatic expertise (page 1).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CERSE has evaluated the BRAINS program since its inception. CERSE Associate Director Dr. Erin Carll currently leads the evaluation and is a co-author of the <em>Neuron<\/em> piece. Joyce Yen is first author and M. Claire Horner-Devine, Rachel Talney, and Sheri J.Y.
