David Masopust is an Associate Professor of Immunology at the University of Minnesota. He is a graduate of Middlebury College. He received his Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Connecticut and was a postdoctoral fellow at Emory University. His research interests include mucosal immunology and the regulation of adaptive protective immunity against pathogens, with specific applications to vaccine development.

Masopust is a recipient of the 2009 Beckman Foundation Young Investigators Award, 2009 American Society of Microbiology ICAAC Young Investigator Award for research excellence in HIV, 2009 NIH Director’s New Innovator Award, and 2010 University of Minnesota Medical School Young Investigator Award.
