Overview:

This talk describes the background and history of the Gay City PrEP Clinic, which in 2013 became the first community-based clinic to provide PrEP in the Pacific Northwest, and the role of Gay City lay health workers in running the clinic. We discuss work supported by the 2019-20 CFAR Ending the HIV Epidemic Administrative Supplement and plans for the newly-funded POCAAN PrEP Clinic that will provide PrEP access to Black and other persons of color in King County, WA.
