{"id":849,"date":"2013-06-27T10:17:46","date_gmt":"2013-06-27T17:17:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/chemwp\/chemwpnmr\/?p=849"},"modified":"2013-06-27T10:18:03","modified_gmt":"2013-06-27T17:18:03","slug":"av500-update-proper-setup-of-experiments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/chemwp\/chemwpnmr\/2013\/06\/av500-update-proper-setup-of-experiments\/","title":{"rendered":"AV500 UPDATE : PROPER SETUP OF EXPERIMENTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Following the reconfiguration of the Lock system, users need to observe the following procedure to get correct results.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are copying an old data set to start a new run, please run the\u00a0 <strong><em><span style=\"color: #993300;\">edasp<\/span><\/em><\/strong><em><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> command.\u00a0\u00a0 You will see a graphical window similar to the following : <a href=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/chemwp\/chemwpnmr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/edasp_window.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-850\" alt=\"edasp_window\" src=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/chemwp\/chemwpnmr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/edasp_window-300x165.jpg\" width=\"430\" height=\"236\" srcset=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/chemwp\/chemwpnmr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/edasp_window-300x165.jpg 300w, https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/chemwp\/chemwpnmr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/edasp_window-1024x564.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/chemwp\/chemwpnmr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/edasp_window.jpg 1082w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 430px) 100vw, 430px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Click on the <strong>Save<\/strong> button to exit.<\/li>\n<li>Your FID and spectrum will appear correctly now.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Important Note :<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Always perform an auto lock on the correct solvent before starting any acquisition.<\/li>\n<li>Always remember to run the <strong>&#8216;sref&#8217;<\/strong> command to get the correct 0 ppm referencing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ALETERNATIVE SOLUTION :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After you open a new dataset, you can always enter the macro &#8220;<strong>proton<\/strong>&#8221; to set the system reference frequency correctly.
