Mr. Anderson earned a MEd (Communications & Technology) from the University of Washington College of Education (2013) as well as holding a MBA from the University of Florida (1976). He completed his undergraduate degree at Furman University (1975) with a concentration in business administration. Mr. Anderson has a 25+ year history in the commercial sector, holding positions of increasing responsibility in the fields of software, networking, and Web services. His roles included management positions at Microsoft, Novell, and CenturyLink (previously US West/Qwest). Mr. Anderson joined UW Professional & Continuing Education in 2007 with a focus on academic program development. He transitioned to the Department of Applied Mathematics as a Program Manager in 2011 to help launch the MS Computational Finance & Risk Management degree and certificate programs both in classroom and online formats. Mr. Anderson became Executive Director of the CFRM program in February 2015.
