{"id":940,"date":"2016-10-31T13:51:19","date_gmt":"2016-10-31T20:51:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/compfin\/?p=940"},"modified":"2017-12-18T18:47:33","modified_gmt":"2017-12-19T02:47:33","slug":"2017-quantnet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/compfin\/2016\/10\/31\/2017-quantnet\/","title":{"rendered":"2017 QuantNet Ranking: #12!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Just barely six years after launching our MS and improving on last year&#8217;s #14 spot, we are thrilled to announce that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quantnet.com\/mfe-programs-rankings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QuantNet&#8217;s 2017 ranking<\/a> of programs has again recognized our program as one of the top financial engineering MS degrees in the country. Our 2017 composite score left us just one point away from a three-way tie for 10th place with MIT and Georgia Tech. CFRM looks forward to joining the top 10 soon.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;d like to extend special thanks for these efforts to our current and former <a href=\"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/compfin\/about\/people\/\">faculty<\/a>, including Professors Tim Leung, Doug Martin, Steve Golbeck, Guy Yollin, Kjell Konis, Eric Zivot, and Matt Lorig, along with our great crew of affiliate instructors, including Dan Hanson, Steve Murray, Jay Henniger, John Stewart, Winston Pun, and Brian Peterson.
