Comparative Pathology Program

Drs. Piper Treuting and Charles W. Frevert, faculty members in the DCM, are co-directors of the CPP.  To take advantage of resources in the DCM and at the University of Washington at South Lake Union the CPP is composed of two sections, Molecular Pathology and Veterinary Pathology (Figure 1). Drs. Treuting and Frevert have offices that are located within the Histology and Imaging Core (HIC) where they work with Brian Johnson and Kerrie Allen who oversee the day-to-day running of the HIC and the University of Washington Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UWVDL) respectively.  The HIC is located within and run in collaboration with the Center for Lung Biology at South Lake Union.
