Eating healthy foods is a cornerstone of diabetes management. This site will show you new ways to choose and prepare healthy foods\u2014while staying within your food budget. Apply what you learn as you shop for food and cook at home. The goal is to give you the tools that you need to move closer to your healthy eating, cooking, and food budgeting goals, and improve blood sugar levels.<\/p>\n

Development and Testing of the Curriculum<\/h2>\n

This curriculum was developed and tested through a partnership between the University of Washington<\/a> and Missouri Breaks Industries Research, Inc<\/a>.<\/a> (MBIRI) with the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe (CRST)<\/a> Lakota community in South Dakota.<\/p>\n
