Balance and Vision

In all of us

The inner ear

The cochlea hears

The labyrinth senses orientation

Hair cells sense motion

Each hair cell signals

Movement of the ìhairsî

Tilt and slide

Crystals in your ear

Turn

Fluid filled rings

A sail in your ear

Nerves carry the information

The brain links ear and eye

The ear moves the eye

Without orientation, vision fades

What you see with your head still

You do not see when you move

Vision aids balance and posture

If the ear fails, vision saves us

Ultimately
