Cruise Description In 1995, a 19 day cruise took place in the
spring, low-flow period for the Columbia River. Five 30-hour
series, as well as a long 111-hour series comprised the sampling
scheme. |

The 1995 research trip took place during the spring, intermediate flow period of the Columbia River. The R/V Robert Gordon Sproul, from Scripps Oceanographic Institute in San Diego, CA, was utilized for sedimentological, geochemical, microbial and ecological investigations. Geophysical investigations in were conducted
from the R/V
