WARNING NOTE: A bias has been identified in ADCP current velocity data from July '97, October '97, and June '99. This bias was caused by a filtering bug in ADCP configuration files, and appears to amplify velocities. For the time being, it is only safe to trust these velocity data for distinguishing between peak flow and slack, ebb and flood. For more details, contact Philip Orton, orton@ese.ogi.edu. We will examine this problem in more detail at a later date, probably late 1999.
