David Jay  
  David Jay is an associate professor in the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at the Oregon Graduate Institute of Science and Technology. Dr. Jay's work extends across the coastal zone, encompassing river basin, estuarine, and continental shelf processes. A unifying theme is the influence of hydrodynamic processes on ecosystems. Broad research areas include estuarine circulation and transport processes, turbulence and mixing in stratified flows, waves and tides, and development of novel physical data collection and analysis methods.
