Prospective Students of Prof. Lee and CSC Lab

We occasionally take on new PhD students and are always on the lookout for a great fit. If you are a prospective student, I invite you to study our research areas to see if they intrigue you. If you are still intrigued, I welcome you to skim several of our research papers to see if there is one or more that inspires you in some way. Given our collaborative way of working and tendency to keep our lab small, it is very important that members have a commitment to one or more of our designated research areas in order to maximize our ability to be of assistance to each other. As a point of reference our work is heavily influenced by sociology, computer science, and information studies. Our primary field for publication is Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW). At this time we do have a particular need for a student who is interested in studying collaboration in particle physics/high energy physics as we anticipate fieldsites opening up in this area.

If you are interested in working with me, please email me your CV or resume and an expression of interest (ideally several months before the deadline) so that we can start a conversation. At minimum, you should be sure to list my name on your application to the PhD program as someone you would be interested in working with.
