Hope all enjoyed the long winter vacation and are moderately prepared for the new quarter! <\/p>\n<p>This is our Winter 2020 CSSCR announcement\/newsletter.  Below you will find our listing of workshops for the Winter quarter. As always, registration is open and free to anyone in the UW community. Please let your colleagues, staff, and students know by sharing this newsletter. Individuals can subscribe to the newsletter&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/mailman12.u.washington.edu\/mailman\/listinfo\/csscr_news\">here<\/a>, and our newsletter archive is found&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/julius.csscr.washington.edu\/publications\/newsletter.html\">here.<\/a>   <\/p>\n<p>If you plan on using the computer labs for the Winter Quarter, or more importantly, for the coming Spring Quarter and Summer Sessions 2020 make your reservations now!  We have very limited space for Winter and space for Spring is rapidly disappearing.  You can verify your lab reservations and check for space availability on our&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/julius.csscr.washington.edu\/reservations.html\">online calendar<\/a>. Give us a call (<a href=\"tel:%28206%29%20543-8110\">206-543-8110<\/a>) or drop us an email at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:csscr@u.washington.edu\">csscr@u.washington.edu<\/a>. The labs can be reserved by faculty in our&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/julius.csscr.washington.edu\/about\/\">member departments<\/a>. Students and student groups from our member departments are also welcomed to reserve the labs for workshops, experiments, group projects, and other academic events.<\/p>\n<p>For those using and assigning use of our poster printing service, note we do have new policies regarding POSTER printing. This will include importing text documents, coding and annotating documents, and exploring relationships through analysis and query tools.  Time permitting we may also discuss best practices for data management.
