The start of Summer Session 2020 still finds us mainly operating online. With the current social distancing measures in place, CSSCR is operating our consultant services fully on-line and our day to day in-person office operations remain closed (though see below for access to some in-person services). Both of our instructional classroom computing labs remain closed for the whole of Summer quarter.<\/p>\n
Drop-in consulting services <\/em><\/strong>are fully online and to access consulting help simply send a note to CSSCR@uw.edu <\/strong>briefly stating your problem and whether you had previously worked with a specific consultant. We will then route the appropriate consultant to you. Hours for Summer Session will be M-F 8am-6pm for Session A and M-F 9am-5pm for Session B. (CSSCR is closed weekends and holidays.) NOTE: How this service will be accessed may change during the summer quarter but we will remain online for the duration of summer sessions.<\/p>\n CSSCR Main Office<\/em><\/strong> is closed with staff working remotely as much as possible. Staff can be reached via CSSCR@uw.edu. If you have questions or need to communicate with key staff please send a note during our business hours M-F 8am-5pm.<\/p>\n CSSCR workshops <\/em><\/strong>will be offered on a limited schedule this Summer. These may be videos, as well as synchronous sessions. For instructors, if you have a specific need for your class (e.g. an introduction to R) contact us at CSSCR@uw.edu and we can see if we can meet your need. Our CSSCR newsletter will detail these general workshops; this list will be available by July 1.<\/p>\n Data services<\/strong><\/em> will be on-line and accessed simply by sending a note to CSSCR@uw.edu.<\/p>\n The drop-in computer lab<\/em><\/strong> remains closed though this may be revisited as the University changes current distancing policies. We hope to offer access by appointment, but staffing will limit access time and days available.
