To accomplish this goal the CRISPR, Vector and Transgenic Mouse Core provides the following to Diabetes Research Center affiliate investigators:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Production of CRISPR\/Cas9 reagents for genome editing;<\/li>\n<li>Production of CRISPR reagents for various other applications, such as CRISPR-mediated transcriptional activation and repression;<\/li>\n<li>Production of adeno-associated viral (AAV) and lentiviral vectors for use in animals, tissues and cells;<\/li>\n<li>CRISPR\/Cas9-directed gene editing in mice through a collaboration with the UW Mouse CRISPR Core,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.uwmcc.org\/\"><strong>UW Mouse CRISPR Core<\/strong><\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>Cost-effective cryopreservation of mouse lines;<\/li>\n<li>Generation of cell lines by CRISPR\/Cas9 in collaboration with the Institute for Stem Cell &#038; Regenerative Medicine (ISCRM);<\/li>\n<li>Development of genotyping methods, genotyping and sequencing to validate edited mice and cell lines;<\/li>\n<li>Other molecular biology techniques not routinely performed in affiliate investigators\u2019 laboratories;<\/li>\n<li>Consultation at each step;<\/li>\n<li>Training of affiliates and their trainees in the methods used by the Core.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"page-sidebar.php","meta":{"_mi_skip_tracking":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-63","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/diabetes\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/63","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/diabetes\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/diabetes\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/diabetes\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/diabetes\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=63"}],"version-history":[{"count":12,"href":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/diabetes\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/63\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":9880,"href":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/diabetes\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/63\/revisions\/9880"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/depts.washington.edu\/diabetes\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=63"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
