The goal is not only to improve diabetes outcomes both in Latinx patients living with diabetes, but also to engage family members to begin to explore and help break the cycle of diabetes in vulnerable populations. The project is led by Nicole Erhardt, a member of the UW Medicine Diabetes Institute. Her collabroators are Lorena Alarcon-Casas Wright, Director of the UW Latinx Diabetes Clinic, Laura Montour, Co-Director of the UW Weight Management Clinic, and Dr Ka’ami Sinclair, Co-Director of the Institute for Research and Education to Advance Community Health at Washington State University.

[20

post-12300","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-diabetes-research-center-related-news
["GET
