SSL VPN Services

UW Husky OnNet
In instances where a direct connection to the campus network is required, Department of Medicine IT recommends the UW Husky OnNet service. This service is available at no additional cost to UW faculty and staff. This service allows a connection to the campus resources, including Outpost services. Department of Medicine IT offers full support for the installation and usage of UW Husky OnNet via Full or VPN/Remote Access accounts.

Legacy VPN Service - Sonicwall VPN
The Sonicwall VPN service formerly offered by Department of Medicine IT is being retired in favor of UW Husky OnNet and Microsoft DirectAccess service. For the time being, however, this service will still continue to function. To download the VPN client for your PC or Mac, please click the appropriate link below:

Remote Access to UW Medicine Systems
Please Note that UW Medicine IT Services also offers SSL VPN services for secure remote access to clinical resources and applications at https://sslvpn.medical.washington.edu/. The UW Medicine's VPN service is accessible to users with AMC accounts however since their focus is access to clinical resources they may not support access to department specific resources or non AMC devices. Their support website has an FAQ for self help items, or for detailed support with their service you can contact their help desk at 206-543-7012 or mcsos@uw.edu.
