• ALWAYS register using info in the PCE Time Schedule, NOT the UW College of Arts & Sciences Time Schedule

• To register for classes:
  • You should receive a registration information by email, by about 3 weeks before the beginning of each term.
    
  • If not, please contact Mr. Cox to get a form by email, US mail, or fax.
  • MS degree students register online at http://my.uw.edu :
    
  • The UW PCE Time Schedule and access to online registration is located under the Registration section on the home page.
  • Registration instructions are available at http://degreereg.uw.edu/user-guide.
    
  • GNM students register using the form received from PCE:
    
  • Return completed registration form to UW Educational Outreach Registration Services, PO Box 45010 Seattle, WA 98145-0010, OR fax to (206) 685-9359, OR call (206) 543-2310 to register by phone. 
  • Contact the Graduate Advisor in the Physics Department Office, 206-543-2488 or cuala@uw.edu if you have problems that PCE cannot resolve.
• To apply for on-leave status:
  
• Use the online form, linked at http://grad.uw.edu/for-students-and-post-docs/mygrad-program/.
  
• For extra credits, or to explore a topic: 1 or 2-credit PHYS 600 course:
• Students who need to add a credit to reach half-time student status, or those who just want to explore a topic of interest, may register for a 1 or 2 credit independent study course offered each term, including Summer Quarter. See this page for more information. If interested, please contact the PMSP Faculty Coordinator, emsp@u.washington.edu
• To join the PMSP group on Microsoft Teams (message posting board, chat rooms for courses, etc)

• To arrange your final exam:
  
• Once your faculty mentor agrees you are ready to graduate, see the  PMSP Degree Requirements#finalexam page for how to proceed. You need to be registered for at least 1 credit in the term you graduate, and you need to notify the Graduate Advisor in the Physics Department Office, 206-543-2488 or cuala@uw.edu   at least 2 weeks before your planned final exam date.
